MK11 teammates are immune to power drain. When MK11 Raiden performs 3 combo enders, he disables the opponent's combo enders for the entire match.
Sonya Blade/Kombat Cup: Sonya and her Kombat Cup teammates are immune to Raiden’s Stun on Combo Ender.ģ0-50% Chance to stun the opponent on successful combo ender. Jade/Assassin: Jade can evade Raiden’s combo ender and limit the effectiveness of Raiden’s Passive. Kabal/MK11: If Raiden stuns one of Kabal's MK11 teammates via combo enders, Kabal will give the stun back to Raiden. Terminator/Dark Fate: Terminator can evade Raiden’s Krushing Blows and Fatal Blows, limiting the effectiveness of Raiden’s Passive. Tanya/Treacherous: Tanya reduces the effects of Raiden’s Power Drain on Fatal Blow. Liu Kang/Klassic, Raiden/Dark, and Raiden/MK11 (himself): All 3 characters are immune to Raiden’s Power Drain on Fatal Blow, with enemy MK11 Raiden spreading this immunity to MK11 teammates. Brutalities: Raiden disabling combo ender make opponent cannot perform Brutality and their special high damage combo ender. Jacqui Briggs/Prime, Kung Jin/Marksman, Scorpion/Hanzo Hasashi, Shinnok/Vengeful, Goro/Tigrar Fury, Baraka/Scourge, Kano/Black Dragon & Raiden/MK11: These characters have bonus effects on their combo ender, which Raiden can disable those. Power Drainers: Raiden renders himself and MK11 teammates immune to Power Drain. Kenshi/Elder God: If teamed up with Kenshi, Raiden gains increased critical chance as well as immunity to critical hits, which can stack with his power drain immunity. Having a card that "counters" Raiden does not mean it is always a good choice. Please note that battles are highly situational: this section only mentions cards that have mechanics that, for any reason, are particularly effective with/against, or particularly ineffective against Raiden. However, it can be used to simply dispel any debuffs. 
Raiden's SP1 can be blocked, so it's wiser to pick a good moment. While the enemy is stunned, it's possible to stack this effect, but it's also a good idea to use a Special Attack since the enemy won't be able to block. As such, it's recommended to equip him with block-breaking items (like Shuriken), to effectively finish a combo ender. Mortal Kombat X is koming to PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2015.Raiden's passive allows him to consecutively stun his opponent. His attacks may be powerful, but the button combinations that needed to be memorised have always made the Thunder God a high-level challenge. Raiden has always been of the trickier characters to master in the Mortal Kombat series. I think I just clutched my spleen after seeing that X-Ray move.
Storm Lord – Lightning traps that allow Raiden to control the space around him by dropping bombs around him that can be connected with electricty. Displacer – Quick teleportation abilities that can lead into juggle kombos. Thunder God – High voltage kombos, zaps, grabs and new aerial attacks. Here’s a quick summary of his three styles of kombat: Raiden has been knocking around every iteration of Mortal Kombat since the beginning of the series, but it looks like he’ll be bringing a few new move-sets to the table. Here’s the gameplay trailer which shows off Raiden’s new moves and fatality: Since everybody was kung-fu fighting at EVO 2014 over the weekend, NetherRealm and Warner Bros took the time to introduce the new-gen EarthRealm protector. 
Well hit your jukebox and start looping some AC/DC, because a thunder god has returned. That doesn’t mean that you won’t see a few familiar faces in the sequel however.
It’s got an emphasis on introducing new characters to the series, a stark contrast to Mortal Kombat 9’s roster that consisted entirely of old favourites. Mortal Kombat X is pretty much a new slate for the revered and gruesome franchise.
